Small Green Handmade Pottery Plate with Wildflowers Design

A delightful and delicately decorated green handmade ceramic plate with an elegant flower design in the centre. My preferred use is for cake, but it can also be used as a side plate at the table. It could be part of a breakfast set, presented together with a bowl and a mug, bringing the beauty of nature into your home.

Handmade in my garden studio, the plate is decorated using a slip and sgraffito technique. Pops of colour create the flowers and then the wildflowers and grasses are carefully etched into the clay using a sgraffito technique.

The wildflower design is inspired by the meadows that I see around me in the Kent countryside.

• I make each plate myself so please expect some variation in shape, size and decoration between each item – each one is unique. I am always happy to send you photos or exact dimensions.

• All items are packaged in a special cardboard box. They are then placed in a further box with compostable chips for transit. Occasionally I use other packaging in order to reuse it and avoid sending it to landfill.
