Small White Handmade Ceramic Bowl with Midsummer Flower Design

This beautiful small white ceramic bowl brings the beauty of nature indoors, evoking a sense of tranquillity to whoever holds it. The design is inspired by my garden on a Midsummers evening and is encircled by rainbow coloured flowers with their stems etched into the clay using a Slip and Sgraffito technique. Inside, the colour of the buff clay can be seen. The bowls are hand thrown with a buff coloured stoneware clay on my potter’s wheel in my garden studio in Kent, UK. The clay is fired with a transparent glaze inside and out, with the lower section on the outside and the foot ring at the base being left unglazed. My maker’s mark is embossed onto the outside of the bowl.

·        I make each bowl myself so please expect some variation in shape, size, capacity and decoration between each item – each one is unique. I am always happy to send you photos or exact dimensions.

·        All items are packaged in a special cardboard box. They are then placed in a further box with compostable chips for transit. Occasionally I use other packaging in order to reuse it and avoid sending it to landfill.
