Small White Handmade Pottery Bowl with Blue and Green Textured Decoration

A very special small handmade pottery bowl which is decorated with blue and green coloured slip added with a special brush. With its elegant and curved outline this bowl captures the essence of graceful movement and the fluidity of the clay when being created on my potters wheel. Whether creating drama as a centrepiece for an interior design, being used on your dinner table, or being gifted to a special someone, this ceramic piece will bring the inspiration & beauty of nature into your home. The brightly coloured brush strokes are inspired by the countryside that I observe around me and compliment the form of the vessel itself.

The bowl is hand thrown with stoneware clay on my potter’s wheel in my studio here in Kent, UK. It is then decorated by brushing and marking the clay with a thick white slip and brushing coloured slips onto the surface of the bowl. It is textured on the outside. The bowl is glazed with a transparent glaze inside and out which is food safe.

• All items are packaged in a special cardboard box. They are then placed in a further box with compostable chips for transit. Occasionally I use other packaging in order to reuse it and avoid sending it to landfill.
