White Handmade Pottery Mug with Midsummer Flower Design, New Style

A colourful handcrafted stoneware ceramic white mug with a bold flower decoration which will infuse elegance into your daily rituals. It embodies the fusion of meticulous craftmanship and creative expression that characterizes handmade studio pottery.

The rainbow coloured flowers on this pottery mug are reminiscent of the hues found in nature and give you a feeling of vibrance and joy, inspired by my garden on a midsummers evening.

The mug showcases the intricate detailing of a slip and sgraffito technique, with the stems of the flowers being etched through the white slip and into the clay.

The mugs are hand thrown in my garden studio in Sevenoaks, Kent, UK and are glazed with a food safe transparent glaze on the inside and down to the detailing on the outside. The detailing itself, along with the base are left unglazed. My maker’s mark is stamped on the base of the handle.

I make each mug myself so please expect some variation in size, shape, capacity and decoration between each item – each one is unique. I am always happy to send you photos or exact dimensions.

• All items are packaged in a special cardboard box. They are then placed in a further box with compostable chips for transit. Occasionally I use other packaging in order to reuse it and avoid sending it to landfill.
