Medium White Handmade Pottery Necked Moon Jar or Vase with Blue Decoration #1
A stunning medium sized handmade pottery necked moon jar or vase which is decorated with blue underglaze colour added with a special brush. With its elegant and curved outline this exciting heirloom piece captures the essence of graceful movement and the fluidity of the clay when being created on my potters wheel. Whether creating drama as a centrepiece for an interior design, holding an arching branch of flowers or being gifted to a special someone, this ceramic piece will bring the inspiration & beauty of nature into your home. The brightly coloured brush strokes are inspired by the countryside that I observe around me and compliment the form of the vessel itself.
I hand threw this vase from a single piece of dark coloured stoneware clay. It is then decorated by brushing the clay with a white slip and the underglaze colours. The vase is glazed with a transparent glaze inside and out and is able to hold water without an issue.

· All items are packaged in a special cardboard box. They are then placed in a further box with compostable chips for transit. Occasionally I use other packaging in order to reuse it and avoid sending it to landfill.
